New COPD drug 611 aims to cut lung attacks in half

Summary

This study tests a new medicine called 611 in Chinese adults with moderate to severe COPD. The goal is to see if 611 can reduce the number of serious lung attacks (exacerbations) and improve breathing. About 594 current or former smokers aged 40-85 will receive either 611 or a placebo, and researchers will track their lung function and flare-ups over time.
