Summary
This study tested whether a special 6-week self-management program could help people with COPD feel better and function better in daily life. 42 adults with COPD were randomly assigned to either receive this new education and activity program or to continue with their usual physical therapy. Researchers measured changes in quality of life, confidence in managing symptoms, walking ability, and feelings of anxiety and depression.
