Breathing easier: inhaler study aims to help COPD patients exercise longer
NCT ID NCT03081156
Summary
This study tested whether a combination inhaler (Glycopyrrolate/Formoterol) could help people with COPD exercise for longer periods. 52 participants with moderate to severe COPD tried both the real medication and a placebo inhaler in a random order. The main goal was to see if the medication increased how long patients could pedal on a stationary bike before getting too breathless.
