Can targeted breathing training strengthen lungs in COPD?
NCT ID NCT07415746
Summary
This study aims to see if adding specific breathing muscle training to standard pulmonary rehabilitation helps people with COPD. Researchers will use ultrasound to measure how well the main breathing muscle (the diaphragm) works before and after training. They want to find out if stronger breathing muscles lead to less shortness of breath and better overall function for patients.
