First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study compares two minimally invasive procedures—cooled and thermal radiofrequency—to relieve chronic lower back pain caused by worn facet joints. About 100 adults aged 30 to 70 with pain lasting over 3 months will be treated. The goal is to see which method better reduces pain by numbing the nerves that send pain signals.
