Summary

This study looked at whether painting roofs with a special reflective coating (cool roofs) can help people in Niue stay healthier during hot weather. 187 adults wore smartwatches to track their heart rate, sleep, and physical activity. The goal was to see if cooler homes lead to better heart health, more sleep, and more movement.
