Summary
This study investigates whether applying special reflective coatings to roofs can help protect people from extreme heat in Hermosillo, Mexico. Researchers will enroll 800 permanent residents and randomly assign some homes to receive the coating. Participants will wear smartwatches to track if the cooler indoor temperatures improve their heart health, sleep quality, and physical activity levels.
