Summary

This study tested two different doses of a contraceptive patch that releases the hormone levonorgestrel through the skin. About 120 healthy women aged 18-44 took part to see how well the patch prevents pregnancy, how safe it is, and how it affects cervical mucus and ovulation. The patch does not protect against sexually transmitted diseases.
