New pain relief approach may shorten hospital stays for rib fracture patients

Summary
This study compares a continuous nerve block plus standard pain medicine to standard medicine alone for adults with two or more broken ribs. The goal is to see if the nerve block reduces hospital stay length and daily pain scores. 180 participants will be randomly assigned to one of the two groups.
