Special contact lenses battle worsening eyesight in kids

NCT ID NCT05243836

Summary

This study aims to see if a new type of contact lens (S.T.O.P.®) works as well as an existing lens (MiSight®) at slowing down the progression of nearsightedness in children. About 440 children aged 8-14 will wear one of the lens types daily for three years. Researchers will measure changes in eye length and vision to compare how effective the lenses are.
