First seen Mar 09, 2026 · Last updated May 26, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study tests whether special contact lenses can slow down nearsightedness (myopia) in children aged 8 to 14. Over three years, 441 kids will wear either a new lens design or an existing dual-focus lens to compare how well each controls eye growth. The goal is to find a better option to manage myopia progression.
