New contact lenses aim to sharpen vision for aging eyes

NCT ID NCT07076160

Summary

This study compared two brands of daily disposable multifocal contact lenses to see which helps people with age-related reading vision (presbyopia) see better. 74 participants, aged 40-70 who were already contact lens wearers, tried each type of lens for about a week. Researchers measured how clearly they could see at far, intermediate, and near distances to determine which lens performed better.
