Eye doctors test a shortcut: could the 'Wrong' contact lens be good enough?

NCT ID NCT06745375

ENROLLING_BY_INVITATION Knowledge-focused Sponsor: Aston University Source: ClinicalTrials.gov ↗

Summary

This study is checking if daily disposable contact lenses that are slightly stronger or weaker than a person's exact prescription still provide good vision and fit comfortably. Researchers are testing this on 38 healthy adults to see if eye care providers can use lenses they already have in stock as a temporary option when the perfect match isn't available. The goal is to make getting contact lenses faster and more convenient for patients.
