Letting participants design the study: can it fix medical Research's diversity problem?
NCT ID NCT07489144
Summary
This study tests a new approach to make medical research more inclusive. Researchers are working with 240 Black women to see if letting them help design the study tasks (like surveys and health measurements) leads to better participation and more complete data than using pre-designed tasks. The goal is to find better ways to include diverse communities in research so future studies can benefit everyone.
