NCT ID NCT07160036

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 35 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a special camera (AO-SLO) can reliably measure cone cells in the eye, and if repeated low-level red-light treatment changes cone cell density in people with nearsightedness (myopia). About 180 participants aged 6 to 55 will be observed. The goal is to understand how the eye responds to this light therapy, not to cure or treat the condition directly.
