Robots vs. hands: which builds a better jawbone?
NCT ID NCT06195761
Summary
This study aims to see if using a computer-guided surgical tool is more accurate than a surgeon's freehand technique when adding width to a thin jawbone for future dental implants. It will involve 18 adults with a specific type of jawbone deficiency. Researchers will use 3D scans to measure how closely the final bone width matches the planned width for each method.
