First seen Jan 20, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tests whether using a computer guide makes jaw bone widening surgery more accurate than the traditional free-hand method. 18 adults with a narrow lower jaw bone will be randomly assigned to one of the two techniques. The main goal is to see how closely the final bone width matches the planned width using 3D scans.
