Computer guides needle to fix clicking jaw

NCT ID NCT07306936

Summary

This study compares two ways to perform a minimally invasive procedure for painful jaw joint problems. Researchers are testing whether using computer guidance with a single needle and platelet-rich plasma works better than the standard freehand technique. The study involves 24 adults whose jaw problems haven't improved with basic treatments. They'll measure jaw function, pain, and how long the procedure takes over three months.
