Bandage bootcamp boosts student skills, study finds
NCT ID NCT07592208
First seen May 19, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looked at whether supervised practice with pressure sensors helps physiotherapy students apply compression bandages more accurately than just reading a brochure. 41 fourth-year students were split into two groups: one got expert-led training with real-time feedback, the other studied on their own. The main goal was to see if hands-on training improves technical skill, pressure accuracy, and student confidence.
