NCT ID NCT07135518
First seen May 19, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tested a compassion-focused training program for staff working in prisons and forensic psychiatric units. The goal was to see if it could improve the social climate (how safe, supportive, and respectful the environment feels) and reduce critical incidents like aggression. The study included 96 staff and residents across three units, with one unit receiving the full training, one receiving only a workshop, and one receiving no training. Results will help understand if this approach can improve working conditions and interactions in these challenging settings.
