Wrist vs. Thumb-Side artery: which is safer for complex heart stents?

NCT ID NCT05490238

Summary

This study compares two different spots on the wrist to insert a catheter for complex heart artery procedures. Researchers want to see if using an artery near the thumb causes fewer blockages and complications than the traditional spot further up the forearm. The study will enroll about 700 adults who need a complex heart stent procedure.
