First seen Apr 05, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tested whether giving three blood pressure-raising drugs together early in septic shock works better than the usual step-by-step approach. It involved 79 adults in the ICU with severe infections and low blood pressure. Researchers measured changes in renin, a marker of organ blood flow, to see which strategy helps patients survive.
