NCT ID NCT07452640

First seen Mar 15, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study compares two ways to treat gum disease without surgery: using an ultrasonic device (Vector®) or special hand tools (mini-five curettes). About 36 adults with moderate to severe gum disease will be randomly assigned to one treatment. Researchers will measure gum pocket depth and bone changes over a year to see which method works better.
