Face-Off: new wrinkle filler tested against established brand

NCT ID NCT06509477

Summary

This study compared a new hyaluronic acid filler called Lunaphil Ultra to an established brand, Juvederm Ultra 4®, for treating moderate to severe smile lines (nasolabial folds). In 104 participants, each person received one filler on one side of their face and the other filler on the opposite side to see which worked better. Researchers measured wrinkle improvement and safety over 24 weeks to see if the new filler was as good as the existing one.
