Summary

This study is comparing two existing medications, carbamazepine and oxcarbazepine, to see which one is more effective and has fewer side effects for treating trigeminal neuralgia, a severe facial pain condition. It involves 122 adults who have been diagnosed with the condition. The main goal is to measure pain relief and monitor side effects like liver issues, nausea, and dizziness.
