NCT ID NCT06401551

First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study tested a new trifocal lens implant (PanOptix Pro) against an existing one (PanOptix) in 71 people having cataract surgery in both eyes. Each person received one type in each eye so the lenses could be compared directly. The main goal was to see how well each lens restored distance vision under bright light. Results help doctors choose the best option for clearer vision after cataract surgery.
