First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tested a new trifocal lens implant against an existing one in 87 people having cataract surgery in both eyes. Each person received one type of lens in each eye, and researchers measured how well they could see at a distance in bright light. The goal was to see if the new lens works as well as the current model.
