First seen Apr 10, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tests whether a paste made from zinc oxide and a ginger extract (6-gingerol) works as well as a standard antibiotic paste for treating infected baby molars in children aged 4 to 8. The goal is to control the infection, reduce pain, and save the tooth until it naturally falls out. Sixty children with at least two infected molars will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatments.
