Shoulder surgery showdown: two techniques go head-to-head for massive tears

Summary

This study compares two surgical options for people with massive rotator cuff tears (large tendon tears in the shoulder). 44 adults will be randomly assigned to receive either a latissimus dorsi tendon transfer or a superior capsular reconstruction. The goal is to see which surgery leads to better shoulder function and less pain over two years.
