Study tests which braces technique moves teeth better
NCT ID NCT05963438
Summary
This study compared two different approaches for moving front teeth backward after premolar extractions during orthodontic treatment. Researchers tested whether moving all six front teeth together in one step works better than moving them in two separate steps, using small titanium screws (mini-implants) to anchor the teeth. The trial involved 80 young adults with specific bite problems to see which method produced better tooth positioning and jaw alignment.
