First seen Dec 08, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study compared two methods of numbing the arm for forearm surgery: the retroclavicular block and the classical coracoid block. Forty adult male patients received one of the two blocks using the medication ropivacaine. The goal was to see which method provided faster and more complete numbness and muscle relaxation for surgery.
