Study pits ultrasound against X-Ray for pinched nerve pain relief
NCT ID NCT07447271
Summary
This study looked back at medical records to compare two common procedures for treating pain from a pinched nerve in the neck (cervical radiculopathy). It involved 330 patients and compared an ultrasound-guided nerve block to an X-ray-guided nerve block. The goal was to see which method provided better pain relief over three months and had fewer side effects.
