First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tested two different types of implant-supported dentures in 16 people aged 60-70 who had no teeth. The goal was to see which design better preserved gum health, reduced plaque, and limited Candida fungus growth. Both denture types used special attachments to stay secure, and researchers measured pocket depth and plaque around the implants over time.
