Which breathing tube method works better? study compares two common techniques
NCT ID NCT07057908
Summary
This study compares two standard medical devices used to place breathing tubes during elective surgery: the video laryngeal mask airway and the video laryngoscope. Researchers will observe 176 adult patients undergoing routine surgery to see which device allows faster and more successful placement of the breathing tube. The study involves no extra procedures or risks—both methods are already part of normal anesthesia care.
