New study tests simpler single-dose pill for common sexually transmitted infection

Summary
This study compares two oral treatments for trichomonas, a common sexually transmitted infection. About 1200 adults will receive either a single dose of secnidazole or multiple doses of metronidazole. Researchers will check which treatment works better and is more cost-effective one month later.
