First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study compares three different procedures (surgical cutting, heat-based ablation, and surface coblation) of the posterior nasal nerve to treat severe allergic rhinitis that doesn't get better with standard medications. About 84 people aged 16 to 65 with moderate to severe persistent symptoms will take part. The goal is to see which method best improves symptoms like sneezing, itching, runny nose, and stuffiness, while also checking for side effects and quality of life changes.
