Summary

This study tests a new medical device designed to remove large tissue masses through small incisions after laparoscopic hysterectomy. The device is compared to the traditional scalpel method. The goal is to see if the new tool can remove tissue faster and with fewer risks, such as the spread of cancerous cells. The study involves 84 women who need a laparoscopic hysterectomy and have a uterus estimated to weigh 500 grams or more.
