Summary
This study compares two ways of checking on new mothers after childbirth: in-person visits versus text or phone messages. The goal is to see if the technology-based approach can help detect complications early and reduce emergency room visits during the first six weeks after delivery. About 2,900 women on Medicaid in South Carolina will take part.
