First seen Feb 21, 2026 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study compared two surgical methods to treat high intra-abdominal undescended testis in 50 children over 6 months old. One group received the newer Shehata traction technique, while the other had the standard two-stage Fowler-Stephens surgery. The goal was to see which method better places the testis in the scrotum without later shrinkage or movement.
