First seen Apr 19, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looks at two methods of giving surfactant (a medicine that helps lungs work) to premature babies with breathing problems. One method uses a thin tube without a breathing machine, and the other uses a breathing tube. The study uses lung ultrasound to see which method spreads the medicine more evenly. About 22 babies will take part to help guide future research.
