Which stent works best for unblocking bile ducts in advanced cancer?

Summary

This study looks at two types of metal stents used to open blocked bile ducts in people with incurable cancer. The goal is to see which stent type keeps the duct open longer and causes fewer problems. Sixty adults who already have a temporary drain in place will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two stents and will be followed for one year.
