Brain radiation face-off: which dose schedule wins for tumor control and fewer side effects?
NCT ID NCT05102747
First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study compares two ways of delivering high-dose radiation to people with up to 5 brain metastases from solid tumors. One method gives a single large dose, while the other splits the dose into three smaller sessions. The goal is to see which approach better controls tumor growth and causes fewer side effects like brain tissue damage. About 504 adults with good physical function are being recruited.
