Summary

This study tested different ways to clean skin before surgery to reduce bacteria. It compared two methods of applying ChloraPrep, a standard antiseptic called Hibiclens, and sterile water. 335 healthy adults took part. The goal was to see which method worked best at reducing germs on the skin.
