Summary
This study tested two different defibrillator waveforms (Zoll's 200J shock vs. Lifepak's 360J shock) to see which one better restores normal heart rhythm in people with atrial fibrillation. Over 500 adults participated, and the main goal was to check heart rhythm one minute after the shock. The study also looked at side effects after one or two shocks.
