First seen Apr 12, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study tests whether a combination of dormicum and ketamine works better than dexmedetomidine at preventing confusion (emergence delirium) in children aged 3 to 16 after deep sedation for burn-related procedures. The study will enroll 60 children and measure confusion levels within 30 minutes after anesthesia. The goal is to find a safer, more calming sedation approach for young burn patients.
