First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study will compare two methods of giving the sedative propofol during a procedure called endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) for early-stage stomach or colon growths. One method uses a computer-controlled pump, the other uses manual injections. The goal is to see which approach better protects breathing and leads to faster recovery. About 50 adults will take part.
