First seen Apr 08, 2026 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looks at two ways to clean root canals (rotary vs. back-and-forth files) and whether rinsing with ice-cold saline (cryotherapy) helps reduce pain after treatment. Sixty adults with silent tooth infections will be randomly assigned to one of four groups. Patients will rate their pain at different times, and X-rays after six months will check how well the infection heals.
