Robot vs human hands: which pancreas surgery causes fewer complications?

NCT ID NCT07338409

Summary

This study looked back at medical records to compare two types of minimally invasive pancreas surgery: robotic and laparoscopic. Researchers examined 126 patients who had part of their pancreas removed to see which technique resulted in fewer complications and better recovery in the 90 days after surgery. The goal was to help doctors understand which approach might be safer and more effective for future patients.
