NCT ID NCT07509593
First seen Apr 11, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study compares two types of radiofrequency ablation (a minimally invasive procedure using heat) to treat long-lasting tailbone pain that hasn't improved with other treatments. About 50 adults with chronic tailbone pain will be randomly assigned to receive either a single or double nerve treatment. Researchers will measure pain levels and quality of life for two months after the procedure to see which method works better.
