First seen Apr 15, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study tests two different spots to apply a gentle electrical pulse (pulsed radiofrequency) to a nerve in the shoulder to see which works better for long-lasting shoulder pain. About 32 adults with rotator cuff-related pain will be randomly assigned to one of the two methods. Researchers will measure pain, shoulder function, and muscle strength before and up to 3 months after treatment.
